'Crazy Stupid Love' is the first offering from DAYDREAM RUNAWAYS' upcoming EP and its lyrics tell a coming-of-age story, expressing feelings of a young, forbidden love. Inspired by characters in the hit Hollywood film of the same name, the track continues the band's well-loved nostalgia inducing soundscapes and would sit perfectly on the soundtrack to a John Hughes film. The self produced 'Crazy Stupid Love' effortlessly blends chiming guitars, swirling harmonies and a seriously infectious chorus hook! The song is set to be the sound of a Post-Lockdown world.
